BESPOKE DESIGN
I pride myself in creating one of a kind, bespoke engagement rings and completely unique, sentimental fine jewellery pieces. With your input, I will bring your vision to life and guide you with my creative expertise. No matter how detailed (or not!) your idea is, I have 15 years experience in bespoke jewellery design so am here to help. I adore the process and end result of creating a piece that is not only unique, but that is completely personal to you both, sentimentally and emotionally.
I aim to not just create a beautiful piece of jewellery, but to form a future heirloom, something to be treasured and talked about for generations to come.
Take a look at some previous commissions or scroll down for more information on the bespoke process. Let me help you design your own ocean jewel.

Step 1: Get Inspired.
I can guide you through the entire process with as little or as much design input as you need, but we do need a starting point. So I suggest looking at my existing designs, my other bespoke commissions as well as other pieces you come across online. Find out what you like and don't like. Think about sentimental elements you might like to include in the design as well as stone colours and cuts. Also think about budget, bespoke design doesn't always mean expensive, its a flexible way of creating and can cater to a lot of different price points.
All these considerations will help me pin point what you're after.
Step 2: Get in touch.
Contact me at info@laurabashambespoke.com. From here we will arrange either a face to face design consultation or phone, video call meeting. I am very used to designing in person or virtually.
Step 3: Design and production.
After your consultation we will get back to you with initial designs and quotes. From here we can go back and forth until we get the design perfect for you. I will source stones for you to view either in person or virtually, then once all elements are approved, production will begin. If you like I can send you images and videos of the actual manufacturing process.
Once the piece is finished I can send you images prior to posting out, or you can collect from me in person.
The entire bespoke process usually takes between 8- 10 weeks, however I can work to tighter schedules if needed.
Making a bespoke creation is an honour, its a process I love and am very proud of my long list of happy customers who now have their own unique Laura Basham Bespoke heirloom.

Charlie, Melbourne
Laura is a jewellery making goddess. She helped my husband design the most beautiful 10th wedding anniversary gift, he was guided through the process with numerous sketches, options of stones and setting placements.
She was so patient with the back and forth of decision making, re-sketching and re-redesigning until they were both happy with the final choice. Laura has such a clever eye for detail and quality. I’ve never owned a piece of jewellery quite like this before. I couldn’t be happier. Thanks so much Laura.

Many jewellers wouldn't help me create a bespoke ring with a tanzanite stone I bought in Tanzania - I felt their approach was rude and impersonal so I stopped looking for almost a year.
It was a relief to meet Laura who made the whole process seem exciting again, and created an absolute beauty, exactly as I wanted. Thanks Laura, I wear it all the time!

Christiana, London
Laura made me the most incredible ring. I reached out to her for help with how I could incorporate my father's ashes into a ring whilst using real stones, rather than resin which was all I had seen online. She was so creative, listened to me, understood my vague direction and thought process and spent time working on a design that I loved.
She was so amazing, communicated throughout the entire process and even used some family gold to make the ring. I couldn't recommend her enough, if you are looking for the perfect jeweller then contact Laura. I will forever be grateful for her taking on my project and creating the perfect ring for me.
