RESIZES AND REPAIRS
i want all of my jewellery to look it's absolute best always so will happily repair and resize wherever needed. Upon purchase you get 1 free resize within the first three months, after that any resizes will be charged for. It is best to resize a piece as little as possible so I always recommend if possible to wearing a ring for a month to check the size.
Any repairs that need doing will be assessed in house then quoted for. If the damage is deemed through production fault the repair will be undertaken free of charge, any damage occurring through fair wear and tear or misuse will be quoted for.
I offer cost price re-plating of all my gold vermeil pieces, to ensure you jewellery looks its best forever.
I cannot guarantee stones not supplied by me and all jewellery should be covered by your home insurance in case of loss or damage to the diamonds. Melee stones deemed to be lost through production fault will be replaced free of charge.
JEWELLERY CARE ADVICE
-
Remove jewellery before exercise, manual work or any activity that could result in impact on the piece.
-
Remove silver jewellery before showering or before applying sun lotion, perfume etc. This will slow down the tarnishing process of silver.
-
All stones, including diamonds can chip or break so always be careful not to drop or impact your gemstone jewellery. If this happens, immediately contact me for a setting check.
-
Clean stones with a simple solution or washing up liquid and hot water. Use a toothbrush to gently get under the setting. For particularly stubborn dirt, soak the piece in the solution then scrub with tooth brush. Doesn’t sound glamorous but works a treat!
-
If you feel your piece needs a polish before it’s yearly ‘service’ get in touch and I will happily help.
-
If you gold vermeil plating is starting to wear off please get in touch, I offer a cost price re-plating service to ensure you jewellery stays looking its' best.
-
Above all, enjoy your handmade, unique piece of jewellery, and if you love it, please spread the word!
SIZE GUIDE
Please try to provide me with the correct ring size when you place your order. Any of my rings can be resized when purchased through the website except for eternity bands. I recommend confirming the required size either with me in person or with a local jeweller wherever possible, as this is the most accurate. If you do provide me with the wrong size then we will happily resize the ring for you once free of charge within three months of purchase, plus shipping. If it needs a second resize or falls outside of this time line, this will be a chargeable service and will be quoted for based on the complexity of the resize, plus shipping. Shipping, handling and custom fees for resizes are the sole responsibility of the customer.
You can also refer to the table below to establish your ring size based on the inside circumference of each ring size. Please note that this is a guide only and that having your finger precisely measured by a professional with the correct tools is the most accurate way to find out your ring size. Please note that ring size conversions are accurate to within approximately 1/4 of a finger size.
Tips for Measuring your Ring Size
-
Your finger size can change during the day – the best time to measure is at the end of the day when your fingers are at their largest. Do not measure when your hands are cold as your fingers could be up to half a size smaller than usual!
-
A wider band will feel tighter than a narrower band. When purchasing a particularly wide band, we recommend choosing a full size larger than your normal ring size.
-
Your ring should fit your finger comfortably: it should be snug enough not to fall off, but loose enough to slide over your knuckle.
